I’m flying out to Louisville, Kentucky for the 107^th Kentucky Derby and the Barnstable Brown Gala.

The running of the Kentucky Derby is on Saturday May 7, 2011.

The premiere fundraiser, “Barnstable-Brown Celebrity Gala” for Diabetes is on Derby-eve, May 6, 2011.

The Gala is always attended by many celebrities who not only walk the red carpets, but many also get up and perform to raise money for Diabetes. It is a fun-filled weekend. Oh and lot’s of great hats!
